- These are the last two days of the Oregon Trail unit. We have learned many new things as a class and this unit was very fun. I hope you have learned something new along with your child. Some of the things we have done such as blog posts, Google Earth and Podcasts can be useful tools when your children do other projects in school. You are welcome to come watch the presentations that the students will be giving in class, we would love to see you there!
Day 16:
Today we will be making Podcasts in class! Each of the students will record their journal entries onto an audio file and post it to their blog.
Day 17:
Today the students will be presenting their projects to the class! Each student will play 30 seconds of their Podcast, show 2 elements of their blog, and show their favorite Friday project to the class.
Questions To Talk About: Ask your child what two elements they chose from their blog to share with the class. Discuss what they liked about this unit and what they learned from other students presentations.
